Scott was born and raised in the Toledo area.  He obtained his bachelor of  arts in biology from the University of Toledo in 1993 and graduated cum laude  from the University of Toledo College of Law with his Juris Doctor degree in  2002.

Scott is licensed to practice law in both Ohio and Michigan; He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Michigan Bar Association, and the Toledo Bar Association.

Scott’s legal practice is devoted to estate planning (trusts, wills, powers of attorney, living wills, etc.), estate/trust administration, adoptions, guardianships, commercial and residential real estate transactions (leases, land contracts, closings, etc.), non-profit business formations, and for-profit business formations.

Scott is married to Judy and they have three children, Adam, Allison, and Benjamin. He and his family reside in the Toledo area and are members of Emmanuel Baptist Church
